Narrative Description of Project: Undertook field survey and collected data (both primary and secondary) on the market prospects of studio apartment housing in the Cox’s Bazar. Conducted personalized and face-to face interview of multi-sector people. Preparation of detail feasibility study report providing financial, economic, marketing, technical, socio-economic and environmental aspects of the project.Services provided by YC within the assignment were: To assess the viability of setting up a studio type apartment, Management strength and competence of the core management team and key technical staff, Technical soundness of the machinery and equipment and manufacturing process, availability of raw materials and skilled workforce, Evaluate the location of the site proposed for the industry and assess the connectivity to transport infrastructure and assess utility requirement and their availability, Analyze the market prospects through evaluating demand-supply situation, industry and sector analysis, competitors’ analysis, marketing strategy, supply and value chain analysis etc., Analysis of operating results using financial ratio, breakeven analysis, return on investment, debt service coverage ratio, project cost; debt: equity and scheduling of loan repayment.
