Japan International Cooperation Agency
(JICA) intended to set up EZs in Bangladesh. For this purpose, JICA needed a
detailed study, such as site selection and site assessment on social,
environmental, engineering, financial and other related issues. JICA assigned
Young Consultants and Nippon KOEI to conduct a comprehensive site
assessment in the Dhaka Division for the selection of EZs in Bangladesh.
