Structural Investigation, Assessment and Retrofitting Plan of Purple Apparels Ltd. — A PWD–JICA Technical Cooperation Project

Young Consultants (YC) was engaged by Purple Apparels Ltd. to undertake a structural investigation and assessment of its facility and prepare a proposed retrofitting plan under a PWD–JICA technical cooperation project. The assignment aimed to examine the structural condition of the facility, identify issues requiring attention, and develop recommendations to inform appropriate remedial and retrofitting measures. The work also included the preparation and submission of draft and final reports documenting the assessment findings and recommendations.

Scope of Services Provided

The principal services provided under the assignment included:

Study Preparation: Prepared the study framework and planned the activities required to undertake the structural investigation and assessment.
Site Visit and Investigation: Conducted a site visit to examine the facility and gather information relevant to the structural assessment.
Structural Assessment and Retrofitting Planning: Undertook the assignment’s assessment activities to support the development of a proposed retrofitting plan and recommendations based on the investigation.
