The People's Republic of Bangladesh, operating as a local consortium partner under the banner 'Export Competitiveness for Jobs', in collaboration with the World Bank. This endeavor aimed to bolster growth and competitiveness across four key labor-intensive sectors: Leather and Leather Goods, Footwear (both leather and non-leather), Light Manufacturing, and Plastics, where Bangladesh holds a distinct comparative advantage.

The project strategically deployed matching grant-based incentives to facilitat access to crucial resources such as advisory services, training programs, and specialized equipment. These resources empowered firms to effectively address challenges related to Environment, Social, and Quality (ESQ) compliance, thereby enhancing their overall competitiveness.

Covid-19 Response Fund was an initiative by ERF which took place virtually. Mr. Tipu Munshi, the former Commerce Minister of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh attended the program as chief guest.
